Vision
Georgia has been transformed into a free and developed nation, with youth as its leading force
Mission
“Georgia’s Future Academy’s” mission is to shape Georgia into a developed, modernized, and successful country by empowering the young people living in it. We believe that Georgia’s transformation into a free, European country is possible through the education of youth and their civic engagement.
History
“Georgia’s Future Academy" is a nonprofit, noncommercial youth community organization focused on education. It was founded on August 19, 2015, and has been actively working for years in three main areas:
1. Civic education of youth
2. Fostering a culture of debate and public speaking
3. Engagement of youth in civic/electoral processes, such as canvassing campaigns and observation missions
A notable project of the Academy is “Idebate,” the only seasonal debate championship in Georgia, which brings together over 4,500 alumni, 80 successfully held tournaments, and around 100 qualified judges.
Additionally, Georgia’s Future Academy has been monitoring local, presidential, and parliamentary elections in Georgia, since 2017. For the 2024 parliamentary elections, it was a board member and an active contributor to the observational mission “My Vote.”
The organization brings together a team of young professionals and volunteers who strive daily for Georgia’s better future.
